The easiest way to setup the NetSDR and SDR-IP for manual address use is to connect the radio to the PC using the Ethernet cable and then running the SDRNetSetup utility.
After installing it, run it and it should discover the SDR and display it in its window.

Double click on the SDR in the list and the following menu will pop up allowing you to enter new settings.

Make sure the “Use DHCP” is not checked and then enter you desired manual IP address and subnet mask values. Click OK and the radio will change to these new settings.

The SDR-IP has a user front panel and display and one can set the above parameters using the knobs on the front. The SDRNetSetup utility is still probably faster to use if it is available.
